  The main ideas of the Cicil War era were the idea of equality and slavery. It is important to understand the two sides in the war.   In the US the number of colonies has grown and it has reached 13. There have been rising tensions between the colonies and Great Britain. The main reason being taxation. This time period is all about the arrival and origin of Native Americans. It is agreed that they arrived around 15 000 years ago and that is about everything scientists have agreed on. There are three main theories or ideas about how they arrived- through the Pacific Maritime route, Atlantic Maritime route or Bering Strait theory.
